Why Choose Lith-Ex?

Water is effective for Class A fires but not ideal for lithium-ion battery fires due to thermal runaway, where the battery's heat causes a self-sustaining reaction. The AVD (Aqueous Vermiculite Dispersion) technology used in Lith-Ex extinguishers overcomes this limitation. AVD rapidly cools the fire, interrupts the radical chain reaction, and forms a refractory film that impedes oxygen diffusion, preventing re-ignition. Usage Instructions

1. Pull the Pin: Remove the safety pin to break the tamper seal.
2. Aim: Point the nozzle at the base of the fire.
3. Squeeze: Press the handle to release the extinguishing agent.
4. Sweep: Move the nozzle from side to side at the base of the fire until it is extinguished.
